Thamar Noel, professionally known as TeaMarrr, is a Boston-born genre-bending artist who is constantly reinventing herself through her music, exploring different personas and dimensions. She often switches between masculine and feminine energies to tell authentic stories around love, relationships, loss and mental health, all through a uniquely unpredictable but captivating lens that blends pop, hip-hop and R&B. Despite her ever-changing approach, TeaMarrr has made a name for herself in the music industry with her honest and powerful concept and convicted vocal performance.
In 2017, TeaMarrr released her independent debut album "Thanks For The Chapstick," which caught the attention of Raedio CEO Issa Rae. She was subsequently signed as the first artist on the new label and has since released the buzzworthy EP "Before I Spill Myself EP," contributed to the soundtrack of the hit HBO series Insecure and gained a cult following around the world. In December 2023, TeaMarrr released her highly anticipated debut album "You Should Prolly Sit Down for This," an introspective and raw insight into her life since she signed and moved to Los Angeles. The album touches on topics of temptation, self-doubt, mental health, ego and hope for a brighter future. Once again, TeaMarrr shows why she is and will be another voice of this generation of women unafraid to stand by the conviction of their beliefs and honest accounts of their experiences.
