Executive Vice President of Creative Music Strategy, ViacomCBS
As Executive Vice President of Creative Music Strategy, Anita oversees music supervision across the iconic ViacomCBS cable brands including BET, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV, Paramount Network, Nickelodeon, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel and VH1. She has worked on award-winning programming including Yellowstone, RuPaul’s Drag Race and The Real World, and she has produced numerous soundtracks.
Anita works closely with composers, producers, songwriters, record labels and publishers to create the sound that defines the content, and she executes comprehensive marketing initiatives that amplify TV music placement and the soundtracks of the shows
Anita also leads Business Development and Operations for Viacom Music Publishing and the Viacom Music Library, and she is committed to leading efforts to increase representation for women and POC within the music created for ViacomCBS content.
Anita is as a member of the Recording Academy and Television Academy. She is the Film and TV Chairperson for She is the Music, and serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Hofstra University. Anita has been a fan of music for as long as she can remember and she loves the music discovery that is part of her role.
