Oscar Pelaez

Oscar Pelaez is Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs | Global Digital Partnerships at Kobalt Music Group/AWAL where his responsibilities include negotiating and drafting digital license agreements with major DSPs and innovative startups for both Kobalt’s music publishing catalog and AWAL’s recorded music catalog, as well as settlements with past infringers.

Oscar received his B.A. in Political Science from Villanova University and J.D. from Rutgers School of Law at Newark. Prior to Kobalt, he was a part of the Business & Legal Affairs teams at Universal Music Publishing Group and Atlantic Records.
