Patra Sinner is General Counsel for Symphonic Distribution. Symphonic is a global 100% independent company offering digital music distribution services, video distribution, royalty collection, marketing and more for creators. As General Counsel, Patra advises and strategizes with key stakeholders on legal matters, process and compliance throughout the company, including Rights Administration, A&R, Finance, Product, Trust & Safety, M&A and HR.
Prior to joining Symphonic, Patra was in private practice for almost 20 years, including as a litigation manager for a national firm, and as a principal attorney serving on the leadership board of her firm prior to Symphonic. In both roles she enjoyed mentoring and training new associates.
Patra is licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee; was certified as a mediator in North and South Carolina; and has provided litigation consulting services throughout the U.S. Having broad experience in artist management, booking, media and radio prior to and during law school provides the foundation for her passion for advocacy in the creative community.
She is a Professional Member of The Recording Academy, represents Symphonic along with CEO Jorge Brea in the founding membership group of the newly formed Music Fights Fraud alliance, has appeared on local news and radio, and has written on a variety of legal topics.
