Phil is a media and entertainment attorney focusing on litigation, regulation, counseling and transactions across industries including music, technology, video games, sports, film/television, theater and live event production, fashion, print publishing, visual art, consumer products and financial services. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the ABA Copyright Litigation Committee, and was appointed as Chair of the ABA Music and Performing Arts Committee for the 2021–2022 term. He is active in educational efforts in copyright, media and technology law, including courses at Harvard, Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory and Carnegie Hall. Mr. Hill has extensive professional experience in the music industry, including nearly a decade as a professional audio engineer for music, television, film and advertising.
