Phil Hill is a copyright, media/entertainment, and technology attorney focusing on counseling, public policy, transactions, and litigation. Mr. Hill works with clients across a broad range of industries spanning traditional and digital media, including record labels, music publishers, trade groups, artists, songwriters, online platforms, generative AI companies, video game and metaverse companies, broadcasters, event producers, and investment firms. Mr. Hill has been recognized as a "Top Music Lawyer" by Billboard, and an appointed Chair of the ABA Music and Performing Arts Committee. He is active in educational efforts in copyright, media, and technology law, including teaching courses at Harvard, Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory, and Carnegie Hall. Mr. Hill has extensive professional experience in the music industry, including nearly a decade as a professional audio engineer in music, television, film, and advertising.
