Cited for her honeyed vocals and soulful melodies, New York native Gianna Alessi began crafting songs during her time spent at Boston Conservatory at Berklee School of Music. But, the journey really began when the singer songwriter's grandmother — a former soprano at the Metropolitan Opera — gave nine year-old Gianna her first ever voice lesson.

Since then, she has been storytelling through music and playing shows throughout the tristate area, honing her unique retro-flecked fusion of R&B, pop and soul. A vocalist, songwriter and producer, she fuses expansive harmonies with lush, modern soundscapes.
