Michael Cantor is a New York City–based singer-songwriter originally from Westport, CT. He fell in love with music during drives with his dad between Yonkers, where Michael was born, and Connecticut, listening to artists like Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), Radiohead and The Allman Brothers Band on repeat. Those early car rides sparked a lifelong passion for music.

After years of obsessing over the guitar, Michael began writing songs and eventually found his voice as a singer. His songwriting has been shaped by artists like Bob Dylan, Leif Vollebekk and John Mayer.

Michael released his debut single in 2023, and recently followed it with his debut album, Crash On Me, a folk-pop record with touches of fusion woven throughout.
