ABOUT
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Nalu is a sonic alchemist, weaving jazz, R&B, acoustic soul and lo-fi into a sound as rich as her heritage. A third-generation musician raised in a family where art was oxygen, she learned the guitar by age eight, guided by her father, as well as the piano, and flute—tools she now wields to craft her hypnotic world that celebrates womanhood, self-love and spiritual awakening. Her lyrics dissect femininity, love and societal norms, inviting listeners into raw, water-like melodies that mirror the ebb and flow of the human experience.
