Ashley Winton is the Senior Vice President of Creative Services at Warner Chappell Music. With nearly two decades of music industry experience, Winton joined the global publishing company in 2019 to build its Creative Services department from the ground up with a mission to cultivate new opportunities for songwriters and their songs, connecting them to culture and the next generation of fans.
She leads an innovative international team that drives creative strategy and global visibility through marketing campaigns, activations, digital partnerships, strategic partnerships, and IP development across film, TV, live, and immersive media. Over the past year alone, her division serviced more than 500 songwriters, generated almost 1 billion content impressions, and executed over 500 activations. Winton and her team have led high-impact campaigns to amplify iconic catalogs including David Bowie, George Michael, Talking Heads, and Foreigner, alongside key regional catalogs such as Scissor Sisters, Stromae, Joaquín Sabina, and Erasmo Carlos.
Prior to WCM, she served as Vice President of Music for National Geographic Partners, where she established the company’s sonic identity and music strategy for its global rebrand, films, and television series.
Winton has been recognized on Billboard’s Women in Music list in both 2024 and 2026 and was previously included as part of their 40 under 40 list.
