Eric Nguyen is the Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Development & M&A at Create Music Group, where he leads a global team of over 20 professionals across M&A, investments, integration, and operations. Since joining Create, Eric has built the company’s M&A program from the ground up, overseeing the deployment of more than $250 million in acquisitions and contributing to a company valuation exceeding $1 billion. His notable transactions include label deals with Monstercat, !K7, deadmau5’s mau5trap, Enhanced, and Ostereo, as well as joint ventures with Pack Records, One Land Records, Elysian, and Void.
Eric began his career at KPMG in M&A Advisory before moving in-house to SOCAN, where he helped lead acquisitions of Audiam and MediaNet, and later acquired SODRAC to establish SOCAN’s mechanical collections operations.
