Ryan M. Carroll is the founder of Melody Haunts Reverie, an independent sync licensing company founded in 2018, specializing in representing contemporary artists across multiple genres, along with a growing roster of vintage music. Ryan pitches music for placement in TV, film, ads, and trailers, guided by one simple philosophy: he works with music he’s passionate about, full stop.
Ryan brings more than a decade of experience in the sync business, including roles in the film music department at Universal Pictures, creative licensing at Epic Records, and at the independent sync company Mutiny Recordings.
Before music licensing, Ryan spent ten years working in film and television, including talent representation at both an independent artist management company and CAA. He then spent seven years at a Sony Pictures-based production company, working with directors Sam Raimi and David Fincher.
