Andrew Stess is the founder and CEO of StessCo Consulting Group, a boutique consultancy specializing in sales and business development, go-to-market strategy, and U.S. market entry for global music-tech and rights-management companies. With over 25 years of experience at the intersection of music, technology, and media, Andrew has established a reputation as a trusted connector, dealmaker, and advisor who helps companies scale, generate revenue, and form lasting industry partnerships.

Andrew began his career in metadata and digital music services, holding senior roles at CDDB/Gracenote and AllMusic/All Media Guide, where he helped pioneer metadata and media recognition solutions that became industry standards. Over the years, he has led sales, licensing, and strategic partnerships for companies ranging from startups to established global players, including positions as a board member and CRO of LyricFind and CEO roles with MusicIP and other early digital-music innovators.

Through StessCo, Andrew works as a sales and business development lead for multiple clients simultaneously, helping them craft and execute growth strategies in the U.S. and beyond. His current and past clients span the music tech ecosystem, including Music Story (metadata enrichment & image licensing), Ingenta (royalty accounting & contract management), Tuned Global (white-label streaming & API platform), Professor of Rock/Classic Rock U (radio and podcast partnerships), and new streaming and licensing ventures across music, automotive, and consumer electronics. His ability to align creative vision with commercial execution has made him a sought-after advisor for both technology providers and content owners.

Beyond consulting, Andrew is passionate about music creation and culture. He is an active songwriter, bass player, and collector of vintage instruments.

Andrew also brings a family perspective to the sports and entertainment industries, as his daughter, Minna Stess, is a world-class professional skateboarder and Olympian. He frequently advises on brand sponsorships, partnerships, and the evolving landscape of the action sports industry.
