Brad Akin
Associate Business Manager, FBMM
Brad Akin dabbled in artist management just long enough to know it wasn’t his calling, but it gave him a front-row seat to what artists really need: a steady guide who can help turn creative success into financial strength. He joined FBMM in 2008 and knew immediately that business management was where he wanted to spend his career. Today, he helps clients become confident, financially minded CEOs of their businesses. Brad specializes in managing international touring, having overseen more than 4,100 tour dates in over 50 countries, and spends his days finding ways to leverage both established and emerging tools to better serve his clients. He is a member of the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association and the Advisory Committee for the MIT study on Live Music and Climate Change. Outside of work, he can be found overseeing the complex logistics associated with raising two young boys.
