Cherry Martinez is a radio mogul, New York DJ, media personality and philanthropist. As a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Cherry began her career at WILD 1090 AM giving entertainment reports, thanks to the highly talented Stephen Hill. Her passion for broadcasting on-air and off air enabled her to work in programming, promotions, content creation and marketing in top markets such as, Detroit, Chicago, Philly, Los Angeles and Boston.

Cherry is much more than another voice on the air. She commanded the airwaves when she held the 10pm-2am slot on New York's Power 105.1. Her segments "Cherry Juice,” "Lockdown Love" and "Sexy In The City" gave listeners access to her vibrant spirit and honest approach to life. She’s also appeared in films such as Butter, Love Lockdown, Reverend Do Wrong Ain't Right, Mob Wives and 3 Strikes.

In 2012, Cherry founded the Girl Power Awards to celebrate powerful women in media and entertainment such as Mona Scott Young and Jennifer Graziano. Awards were also given to publicly voted sororities, and schools in African American and Hispanic communities. In 2014, after parting ways with Power 105.1 Cherry chose to use her playful but assertive voice coupled with her knowledge of the music industry to become an entrepreneur and mentor to emerging artists.

Today, Cherry's heads many businesses including CherryOnTop, a marketing platform, Code Media, a music publishing company she started with her son D'Anthony Bly, and FMHipHop.com, a digital radio station that is working to become the #1 digital destination for what's happening in Hip Hop. Cherry's company, Code Media, published Grammy winning song "Focus" by H.E.R. and helped Fetty Wap by contributing to the radio version of seven time Grammy nominated "Trap Queen" which has sold 10 million units and is now certified Diamond.

In addition to her digital radio platform, Cherry has two podcasts which are both continuations of segments originally birthed on her #1 rated, Power 105.1-New York show, "Sexy In the City."
#CherryJuice is an entrepreneurial and entertainment driven podcast that highlights multicultural celebrities and social media sensations. This show provides an inspirational voice, information and is a platform to network with like minded individuals who aspire to start or enhance their own businesses. #JailTales is an extension of her compassion and commitment to her audience. As the wife of a currently incarcerated husband, #JailTales provides a safe haven for celebrities/influencers to share their experiences of dealing with love and life in and outside of the penal system.
