David H. Johnson

David H. Johnson has decades of as a lawyer and executive in the music business.

He has served as General Counsel of Sony Music and Warner Music, Chairman and CEO of Warner Chappell and CEO of EMI Misic Publishing (when it was jointly owned by Sony and Mubadala). He is a past member of the boards of ASCAP, RIAA and NMPA.

He is currently on the board of BMI and is a member of Recognition Music Group’s advisory board.

Dave is a graduate of Yale College (B.A), Penn Law School (J.D.) and NYU Law School (LLM).
