Jamie Susskind
Partner, ACG Advocacy
Jamie is a Partner at ACG Advocacy. She brings nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, innovation, and public policy. Most recently, she served as Legislative Director for Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN). In that capacity, she helped shape national policy on issues including intellectual property, digital platforms, broadband access, and emerging technologies. Her time on the Hill also includes serving as Counsel (FCC Detailee) to the Senate Commerce Committee and as Chief Counsel to Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE). Earlier in her career she served as Chief of Staff to current FCC Chairman Brendan Carr and in the private sector at the Consumer Technology Association. She grew up in Detroit and received her BA from the University of Michigan and her JD from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University.

We’ve come a long way since Fake Drake. Deep fake technologies have improved and proliferated, flooding our feeds with unauthorized digital replicas in the form of unsanctioned cover songs, sales scams, memes, and beyond – and we still don’t have in place a federal legal framework to establish rules of the road. This panel features experts on AI policy from across the spectrum who will address the current state of play, including the inner workings and status of the bicameral, bipartisan NO FAKES Act, and what it takes these days to build consensus across industries and the political aisle.
