Joe Giammalvo

Joe Giammalvo is Senior Director of Creative Sync & Licensing at Wise Music, one of the world’s largest independent music publishers. With nearly 20 years of experience in music publishing and licensing, he works across film, television, advertising and branded content, connecting songs, composers and catalogs with creative opportunities in visual media.

At Wise Music, Joe oversees creative pitching, licensing, negotiations and rights approvals, working closely with music supervisors, agencies, producers and other creative partners from initial music search through final placement. His work spans Wise Music’s diverse international catalog, with a focus on finding new opportunities for both established works and contemporary artists and composers.

Joe brings a collaborative approach to sync, balancing creative needs with the realities of rights, licensing and dealmaking. He is a graduate of the University of Miami’s Music Business and Entertainment Industries program and remains an active musician and performer.
