Pam Workman is the founder of Workman Group, a consultancy that delivers fractional CMO leadership, working in partnership with CEOs and leadership teams to align business strategy with marketing impact and growth for B2B2C music, media, and mission-driven organizations.
Over more than 25 years, Pam has worked across business, marketing, communications, media, and culture, with leadership roles spanning global agencies, major arts organizations, entrepreneurial ventures, and the music industry.
Her work has helped emerging businesses become recognized brands, positioned executives and organizations as thought leaders, earned clients recognition on Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies lists, and connected brand and marketing strategy to drive business growth.
Through Workman Group, Pam works closely with leadership teams at inflection points to address complex business and marketing challenges. She combines commercial acumen, creative thinking, strategic communications expertise, and a broad network of relationships to help organizations define their competitive position, strengthen their brand, and build greater visibility and relevance in the market.
Most recently, Pam served as SVP of Marketing and Communications at ASCAP, where she led marketing and communications in support of the organization and its more than one million members.
She was a founding board member of Women in Music, is an active member of RISE Women, and serves as Board Chair of Tatter, the Textile Arts Center and Library in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
