Rob Schwartz

Rob Schwartz is a 25+ year music industry veteran whose career spans music distribution, radio, music television, sync licensing, music festivals and conferences, and industry education. He has worked across multiple areas of the business and spoken at music industry events worldwide.

Rob currently serves as the Governor of the Grammys (Recording Academy) for the Philadelphia Chapter and as Co-Chair of the Music Education & Professional Development Committee. He has also been a Grammy voting member for 12 years.

He is the Chief Relationship Officer the AI tech company MigMusicTech which is features the new AI DAW MAiTRAX and other AI brands in beta.

He is the owner of WHO?MAG Distribution, an independent music distribution company representing more than 400 sub-labels and 1,000 artists, including a Grammy Award-winning album.

Rob is also the founder of Distro Fest, a music festival and conference that has featured more than 200 performers and 125 major music industry speakers. Four editions of Distro Fest have been held in New York City, Atlantic City and Eastampton, NJ. He is also the co-founder of the PLAY Music Conference in Philadelphia.

He is the owner of the music television network WHO?MAG Multimedia as well as two radio stations The Beat 105.1 (hip-hop & R&B) and The Shore 93.5 (EDM/Dance) in NJ.

As a music industry advocate and educator, Rob has spoken internationally in Seoul (South Korea), Kent (UK), Rome (Italy), Glasgow (Scotland), Toronto (Canada), Barcelona (Spain), and Sofia (Bulgaria), as well as at SXSW, the Tulsa Music Awards, Sync Summit, AES, multiple universities, music conferences, film festivals, and events throughout the United States.

Rob is also an award-winning film director, producer, and music supervisor. He has worked on 23 films and television programs in music supervision and other production roles. His documentary, WHO?MAG Hip Hop Document, won Best Documentary at the Pocono Film Festival.

As a television producer and director, Rob has produced and directed nearly 200 half-hour broadcast music programs for WHO?MAG TV, DMTV, Video Vision, and the reboot of Dancin’ On Air on FUSE TV which has featured more than 3,000 interviews with artists and music industry professionals. His television credits also include work on FOX’s The Four on Fox and ABC programs Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Goldbergs.

Rob has served as a Grammy U mentor for six years and is a member of the Guild of Music Supervisors. He also serves as an advisor to Rowan College of South Jersey (RCBC) and Atlantic Cape Community College.
