SVP, Federal Public Policy, RIAA

Tom Clees serves as Senior Vice President for Federal Public Policy at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He plays a leading role in political strategy and lobbying efforts for the music industry in Washington, DC, and has represented the industry before Congress on issues including copyright protection, COVID relief, online content moderation, and artificial intelligence. Before joining RIAA, he served as an advisor to Senator Jack Reed and Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema and was a political attorney in his home state of Arizona. He is a graduate of Arizona State University and George Washington University Law School.
