Wesley T. A'Harrah

Founder, Hits Differently & Hyper Orange

Wesley T. A’Harrah, 28, is an artist manager, marketing-tech consultant and investor.

Wesley is the founder of Hits Differently, an artist-management company whose clients include iAmTheGENIUS, Maty Noyes, Kristian Kostov, Lil Bird, Ellis Miah and more; and Hyper Orange, a consultancy focused on helping entertainment companies, brands and agencies build and activate the best marketing stacks. Wesley is a co-founder of NINETY Play Inc, a consultancy formed by him and Verena Papik (TikTok employee #2) to help clients -- including Snapchat, a social-media app and Popshop Live, an e-commerce company -- transform their business in under 90 days; and The Mynt, a premiere digi-physi art exhibition and educational organization whose 2021 events have spanned the US and Europe.

Wesley is business partners with Atlanta-based entrepreneur, rapper and DJ, iAmTheGENIUS in Mixtape Monopoly, a marketing agency; Monopoly Distribution, a distribution and label services company; and RARE Sound, a record label, where he and GENIUS have spent years independently operating with K CAMP— whose song "Lottery" (Renegade) held as the biggest song ever in TikTok for seven months straight and was the first song in the world to pass 15, 20 and 30 million videos created with it.

RARE Sound, Mixtape Monopoly and Hyper Orange are the ONLY independent label and connected marketing agencies to have been honored with the Grand Clio for Music in 2020, where they were awarded for the campaign behind "Lottery."

Previously, Wesley headed the consulting arm of Music Ally for several years, where he worked directly with the VP-to-C-level personnel at all major record labels in 30+ countries, several of the largest and most-respected independent record label and management teams, and with the music marketing teams at brands such as Red Bull, tech companies including Facebook and Spotify, and agencies such as Havas, to establish the best internal marketing practices and integration of new marketing tech. In his time at the company he worked on expanding the UK-based company into the US, Japan, China, the Nordics, Latin America and Africa.

A’Harrah serves as the Vice President of Membership and Education of the Music Managers Forum-US, the 501(c)6 trade association for artist managers and self-managed artists. He holds an M.A. in Global Entertainment and Music Business from Berklee College of Music.
