Ayisha McHugh Nelson

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Ayisha McHugh Nelson graduated from Columbia Law School in 2019. Ayisha is currently an associate in Covington’s Technology Transactions practice group. Ayisha’s practice focuses on advising clients and drafting complex commercial transactions related to technology, data, content, name, image, and likeness, media rights, artificial intelligence, and generative artificial intelligence policies. She represents clients in diverse industries, including sports, e-sports, gaming, commercial aviation, and digital health. In addition to her technology practice, Ayisha has experience representing U.S. clients in mergers and acquisitions, debt finance, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters.

Ayisha is a classically trained violinist who is a fan of live music and recognizes the creative and innovative talent required to create a memorable event for fans to enjoy.
