Bill Rosenblatt is a partner at Music Foundry, an international consultancy on music rights and technology, and a professor in the Music Business program at NYU. Bill is an internationally recognized expert on technology, strategy, and data issues related to copyright infrastructure in the digital age, with over 30 years experience. His consulting clients have included major rightsholders, music service providers, technology companies, startups, and public policy bodies worldwide. He serves as an expert witness in litigations concerning copyright, digital media technology, and the music industry. He is the coauthor of the book Key Changes: The Ten Times Technology Transformed the Music Industry, and author of the WIPO white paper The Global Digital Music Landscape: An Overview of Distribution, Copyright, and Rights Administration for Music in the Digital Age. He has degrees in computer science from Princeton and University of Massachusetts, and executive education in business and finance.
