
ABOUT
Carly Rothman is an associate at Oppenheim + Zebrak, LLP whose practice focuses on copyright, trademark, and complex intellectual property and commercial disputes. She represents record labels, music publishers, book publishers, and other content owners in high stakes matters, including emerging litigation involving generative AI. Beyond her practice, Carly is an active volunteer in the legal and creative communities. She serves on the Associate Board of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, a New York nonprofit that provides artists with pro bono legal services and educational resources. In this role, she advances initiatives that expand access to legal support, empower creators, and promote a more equitable arts community. Carly is also a professional member of the Recording Academy and serves on its New York Advocacy Committee, where she supports music creators and helps address the legal, technological, and policy issues shaping the music industry.
