Colin Rushing has nearly two decades of experience in music rights and policy, including in proceedings before federal courts, the Copyright Office and Copyright Royalty Board. He is currently the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Digital Media Association (DIMA), which represents the leading music streaming services in the world. He started his career in music at SoundExchange, where he was the Chief Legal Officer, overseeing critical and precedent setting rate settings and legal proceedings. Colin began his legal career as a law clerk for the Hon. T.S. Ellis III on the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and then as an attorney at the law firm of WilmerHale.
