Dallin Earl is Director, M&A Legal Affairs at Create Music Group, where he focuses on music catalog and record label acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions. He brings together music industry knowledge, copyright expertise, and commercial transactions experience to help evaluate, structure, negotiate, and execute deals involving recorded music, publishing, label services, and other music-related rights.
Before joining Create, Dallin practiced at Covington & Burling LLP, advising clients on complex copyright, technology, media, and commercial transactions involving music, video games, technology, sports data, NFTs, AI/ML models, and other intellectual property assets.
A tech lawyer to the music industry and a music lawyer to the tech industry, Dallin also brings personal experience as an audiophile, musician, and amateur recording engineer, giving him a practical perspective on transactions at the intersection of creativity and technology.
