Jason Munro

Jason Munro is a qualified lawyer and a senior member of BMG Rights Management’s business and legal affairs team in New York City. Having served for several years in BMG’s U.K. offices, Jason was assigned to BMG U.S. in 2018 where he works across the company’s burgeoning recorded music and music publishing divisions. Jason’s role sees him handle a full remit of business and legal affairs responsibilities within the breadth of BMG’s business activities, including steering many of the company’s recent run of catalog acquisitions. Launched in 2008 as “the new music company,” BMG prides itself on a reputation as an artist friendly, forward thinking, home for artist and songwriter clients alike. Jason has helped to shape that BMG policy and is tasked with ensuring that the company’s core values of fairness and transparency are reflected in day-to-day business dealings.
