John Cleary

John Cleary is the Director of Global Music Recruitment at Epidemic Sound. He leads a team of problem-solvers, communicators and analysts to set, communicate and optimize Epidemic Sound's music acquisition strategy, creating the data-driven framework to fuel global A&R. John is responsible for the development of Epidemic Sound’s incredible artist roster spanning over 390 genres, and for signing artists like Nyck Caution, Richie Hawtin and Jordin Sparks. John has a background in music production as a composer, music director and producer. He has collaborated with DJ Premier, Burna Boy, Roddy Ricch and Migos among others and has composed original music for brands including American Express, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Adidas, Highsnobiety and more.
