Dr. Mike Butera is a product designer and serial founder based in Maine and NYC. His research and ventures focus on sound in everyday life, including musical instruments (Artiphon), social music apps (Prism), and augmented listening (Felt). Mike holds a Ph.D. in Sound Studies and was previously a professor of philosophy and sociology as well as a touring musician.
