Nneka Witter is an entertainment lawyer working at the intersection of music, media, talent, and culture. As Entertainment & Media Counsel at Reed Smith, she advises artists, creators, labels, investors, and other industry players on the creation, distribution, and commercialization of music and content, including recording, publishing, licensing, strategic partnerships, NIL, and other commercial matters.
Before returning to private practice, Nneka worked in-house at Interscope Records, YouTube, and Twitter, providing business and legal counsel across music, content, digital media, and partnerships. That experience gives her a perspective shaped by both the business and legal sides of the industry.
Her work reflects the increasingly connected worlds of music, technology, media, and the creator economy, with a focus on helping clients navigate how content is made, financed, distributed, monetized, and ultimately brought to market.
