ABOUT

Steph Mace is Manager, Commercial Partnerships at Shopify, where she works cross-functionally to build and strengthen the partner relationships that power Shopify's merchant ecosystem. She brings a rare blend of design sensibility and operational rigor to the role, shaped by more than a decade of experience across ecommerce, agency leadership, and fashion.

Before joining Shopify, Steph spent nearly 11 years at One Rockwell (1R), a Shopify Platinum Agency, rising from Project Lead to Vice President over a series of roles that spanned nearly every function of the business, including Director of Operations, Head of Client Services, Managing Director, and Executive Director. In that time, she built and led teams, established cross-functional collaboration and process, and worked directly with brands navigating the fast-changing ecommerce landscape, all while driving new business development and long-term client strategy.

Steph's path into ecommerce began in fashion. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from Parsons School of Design and started her career as an Associate Designer at Yoana Baraschi, giving her a firsthand understanding of the creative and merchandising challenges brands face, long before she started helping them solve those problems through technology and partnership.

Today, Steph combines that dual perspective, creative and operational, to help shape how Shopify's partner ecosystem serves merchants at scale.
