Laura B. Whitmore is the founder of the The Women�s International Music Network, an organization that advocates for women in the music and audio industries. As a producer of the annual She Rocks Awards, she honors female role models in the industry. She hosts workshops, panels and events throughout the country aimed at inspiring and educating female musicians and industry members. A singer/songwriter and guitarist, she performs regularly in the Boston, MA area and throughout the northeastern U.S. A journalist, she is the music contributor for Parade.com and writes regularly for Guitar World, CannaBliss and more. She co-hosts a series of live-streamed interview events through her partnership in BackStory Events, and has interviewed hundreds of women in music. She owns and runs Mad Sun Marketing, a boutique marketing and PR agency that focuses on the music and audio industries.
