Music Supervisor, Super Vision

In 2017, Susan Jacobs was the historic winner of the first ever Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Supervision for the HBO series Big Little Lies, season finale episode, �You Get What You Need.� She�s recently received two nominations for the upcoming Guild of Music Supervisors Awards for her supervision work on both I, Tonya and Big Little Lies � an award she has won in the past for David O. Russell�s film American Hustle, and has been nominated for two other times for the films Wild and Silver Linings Playbook. She also has two Grammy nominations under her belt for Best Compilation Soundtrack for American Hustle and Little Miss Sunshine, as well as an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Individual Achievement in a Craft: Music and Sound for the documentary film, Pecados de mi Padre. With a career spanning over twenty years, Susan�s distinguished resume includes many other notable credits such as Split, Joy, Thank You For Your Service, Inside Job, Little Miss Sunshine, Foxcatcher, The Visit, The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst, Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Before Night Falls, GasLand, Catfish, Kansas City, Basquiat, 54, Happiness, Unbreakable, The Village, Short Cuts, Capote, Lady in the Water and many more. Susan started her career in music at Island Records as the assistant to founder Chris Blackwell. She then transitioned into artist management, managing clients such as West Dylan Thordson (composer), Paul Cantelon (composer) Hal Willner (music producer), Gavin Friday (singer/songwriter/composer), Evan Lurie (composer), Sabina Sciubba (lead singer of Brazilian Girls).
