Antoinette Trotman

Antoinette Trotman has a 32-year history in the field of music. Her career started as the Director of Business and Legal Affairs for Instinct Records an indie label in New York. Instinct was founded as a dance/electronic techno label. As the Director of Business Affairs she negotiated artist and licensing agreements and handled royalty accounting for the label.

She left Instinct to work with friend and fellow Cornellian, Londell McMillan. They worked together to create an independent startup, L. Londell McMillan, PC, and NorthStar Publishing with much success. Their client list was peppered with legends like Prince and Chaka Khan, Ruff Ryders, DMX, Ja Rule and Dru Hill.

Antoinette joined Universal Records in 2001 and has worked with big and small artists alike including Jay Z, Rihanna, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Ne-Yo and Justin Bieber, helping to bring their music to the marketplace. She is currently Senior Vice President of Business Affairs Administration.
