Global Head of Business Affairs, Downtown Music Services

Bea Koramblyum, who started at Downtown more than a decade ago, is currently the Global Head of Business Affairs for Downtown Music Services. Based in New York, she oversees all of the company’s legal and business affairs activities.

Previously, Koramblyum was a senior member of the Legal and Business Affairs team for the music publisher’s parent company, Downtown Music Holdings, where she played a key role in many high-profile transactions, including agreements with Wu-Tang Clan, the Estate of Miles Davis, Tori Amos, The George Gershwin Estate and The 1975.

Prior to joining Downtown, she spent more than seven years with Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, LLP, starting as a legal assistant and later promoted to paralegal. Koramblyum also serves on the Advisory Board for Women in Music, and on the Advisory Council for the Music Business program at her alma mater, Hofstra
University.

Most recently, Koramblyum was honored as of one of Billboard’s Women In Music Top Executives of 2022 and featured in Variety’s New York Women’s Impact Report 2022.
