George Macias is a senior leader, and intrapreneur turned entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in sales, marketing, operations, and strategy across multiple industries. Throughout his career, George has driven rapid growth and financial success in numerous companies across the music and entertainment industry.

George is the Co-CEO of MatchTune, a music tech company whose products utilize AI to allow content creators to find, use music, and post videos to digital and social platforms. He is a staunch advocate of music creators' rights and seeks to craft a more equitable digital landscape while making it easier to create beautiful content.

Before his current role, George was SVP/GM of Universal Music Group's Production Music Division globally, managing global strategy, technology initiatives, and business development. Additionally, George was the COO at Vanacore Music, COO for Entertain Impact, and has held many senior leadership roles at other prominent music companies, including EMI Music Publishing and APM Music.

As a proponent of innovative technologies, George served as COO of MediaRebel, a SaaS-based technology company that utilized AI and machine learning to provide intelligent insights into the legal industry. Additionally, George was the founder of Chessbox Media, a mobile-based streaming music service serving the Far East.

In his free time, George dedicates time to non-profit and social enterprises and mentorship programs at his alma mater, Pepperdine University, and through the Latino Entrepreneur Leaders Program at Stanford University. George and his wife have two children and live in Los Angeles, CA.
