Widely recognized as a leader in the field of diversity, Tiffany R. Warren is a talent strategist who has championed diverse professionals and trained a new generation of Chief Diversity Officers and Directors in the creative industries for 25 years.
As the first Executive Vice President, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer for Sony Music Group (SMG), Tiffany drives equity and inclusion initiatives, programs and policies across all of SMG’s global recorded music, publishing and corporate divisions, reporting directly to Chairman, Rob Stringer. Under her leadership, she has redoubled SMG’s commitment to diversity and inclusion focusing on meeting business goals, enabling employees to thrive, and strengthening the company’s position as an exceptional place to work and lead within the broader music industry.
Prior to joining SMG, Tiffany was the Senior Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer for Omnicom Group, leading the strategy that supported Omnicom's vision to be a world class, benchmark company for sustainable diversity and inclusion.
Since 2005, she has been celebrating and advocating for diversity in the creative and technology industries as the Founder and President of ADCOLOR, her non-profit organization. She has been widely recognized for the progress and direction the creative industries have taken around diversity, equity & inclusion and has launched the ADCOLOR Conference, Awards, FUTURES program and ADCOLOR in Music.
In addition to her roles at Sony Music Group and ADCOLOR, Tiffany serves on the boards of several organizations including the Ad Council, GLAAD, Brotherhood|Sister Sol, MAKERS and The Ghetto Film School. She is also the 2021-2022 Chair of the National Board of Directors for the American Advertising Federation (AAF), spearheading the expansion of the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts while emphasizing the audio, music and entertainment aspects of AAF’s programing.
Tiffany is also actively involved in the World Economic CDIO Council & Partnering for Racial Justice in Business Coalition and frequently participates in external conferences, events and meetings sharing her experiences and expertise on driving impactful change around diversity, equity and inclusion in the industry.
Tiffany has received several honors throughout her career including Advertising Age Woman to Watch, AAF Hall of Achievement Inductee, The Jack Avrett Volunteer Award, AAF Pioneer in Diversity Award (Omnicom Group), the National Association of Black Journalists' Patricia L. Tobin Media Professional Award, The European Diversity Awards' Global Diversity Champion Award, the New York Urban League's Frederick Douglass Medallion, the AAF Barton G. Cummings Gold Medal for Distinguished Service, the 4A's 100 People Who Make Advertising Great List, Ebony 100 and John A. Reisenbach Distinguished Citizenship Award, 2021 Henry Crown Fellow, 2021 Billboard Change Agent, 2022 Billboard Women in Music and 2022 Variety Women’s Impact Executive: NY.
A native Bostonian and the oldest of ten children, Tiffany is a proud graduate of The Winsor School and Bentley University, where she is now a Trustee and still finds the time to mentor over 100+ professionals personally.
