Founder, Trapital

I’m the founder of Trapital, a media company for the artists who become moguls. I started Trapital in 2018 to elevate the business leaders in hip-hop, music and entertainment. They have become some of our most successful business leaders and they deserved a publication that analyzed the strategy behind their companies.

Trapital’s newsletter, essays and podcasts reach hundreds of thousands of listeners every month. The insights give artists, moguls and the next generation of execs the insights they need to level up. On the Trapital Podcast, I have interviewed Issa Rae, Rick Ross, Master P, Troy Carter, Steve Stoute and many more. Trapital has been featured in Wall Street Journal, New York Times, BBC World News, NPR and many more publications.

I live in San Francisco, CA with my wife. I earned my MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and my B.S. from Quinnipiac University.
