As the Director of Artists Against Hunger & Poverty at WhyHunger, Hillary develops unique and impactful ways for artists, the music community and celebrities to support the movement to end hunger and poverty and to ensure everyone has access to nutritious food. Since starting at WhyHunger in 2009, Hillary has increased exposure and raised significant funds for the organization and its grassroots partners by working with artists such as Tom Morello, FRZY, Brandi Carlile, Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Dead & Co and more. Prior to joining WhyHunger, Hillary spent 15 years in the music industry managing bands, promoting concerts and living out her life’s dream of producing music at venues big and small.

While many artists use their voices to support causes they are passionate about, some, like hip hop artist FRZY, choose to go beyond simply speaking out and search for ways they can make a greater impact. This panel will explore how artists and non-profit organizations can partner in truly integrated ways to affect meaningful change.
