Kakul Srivastava is an award-winning entrepreneur whose mission is building companies that empower creators, grow communities and create great customer experiences. Currently CEO of Splice, Kakul was previously Vice President of Creative Cloud Experience and Engagement at Adobe. Prior to that, Kakul was the Vice President of Product & Marketing at GitHub, helping empower the world’s largest community of coders, while building a high growth enterprise business.

Earlier in her career, Kakul helped build some of the most iconic consumer tech products -- Adobe's Photoshop line of software, Flickr, Yahoo! Mail, and WeWork Commons. She was also the founder and CEO of Tomfoolery, Inc., a venture-backed start-up dedicated to improving how teams work, which was bought by Yahoo in 2014.

Kakul’s success as a technology executive is founded on her deep Product Management experience and her ability to forge cross-functional relationships that enable companies to build great products and customer experiences. Her superpower is in combining technical competence with empathy and humility, and a passion for building great teams.

Kakul is a graduate of MIT with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, and also holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business. She is a sought-after Board Advisor for her direct and human-centered approach to solving complex problems in technical and mission-driven start-ups and nonprofits. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two children.
