Matthew Hearon-Smith is an NYC-based Film/TV Music Supervisor and Director of Creative Music Strategy at Paramount Global focusing on Scripted Programming and Adult Animation. He is known for his work on Mike Judge’s Beavis + Butt-head Do the Universe, Nickelodeon’s Big Nate and the Sean Baker films Anora (NEON), The Florida Project (A24), Red Rocket (A24) and Tangerine (Magnolia). In addition, he has supervised over 150 episodes of TV on the Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Smithsonian, VICELAND, HBO Max, Paramount + and Fusion networks including Mike Judge’s Beavis + Butt-head series, Noisey, Legendary, "Fuck, That's Delicious!," Black Market with Michael K. Williams and Shade: Queens of NYC. He is a five-time Guild of Music Supervisors Awards nominee, a Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominee for "Best Music Supervision in Film" and was named one of Variety’s "Music Supervisors to Watch" in their annual Music for Screens issue.
