Redefining the Global Business Model, Presented by MMF-US & IMMF

10/12/23, 6:00 PM

Music Managers Forum-US (MMF-US) is part of the International Music Managers Forum (IMMF), encompassing artists and their representatives in over 65 countries globally. The business model for consumption of entertainment and media has shifted. Yet the day-to-day reality of the business model for the traditional music industry remains largely unchanged. As each channel from artist to audience expands, we move further from a one-size-fits-all music business model towards a complex mesh of strategies and revenues. Defining the successor generation of business models is hard; the only common threads are creativity and direct-to-consumer focusing on areas bespoke to each artist's fanbase. The best way to keep track of this succession is to hear from artist managers working with pioneering artists around the world.
