Tyson Kuteyi is an award-winning producer, composer, recording and mixing engineer at the center of the advertising, TV, film and music industries. His keen ability to connect with each project's unique requirement, combined with his technical and musical knowledge has made him a top choice for the recording, production and mixing needs of brands and artists internationally.
He began his career at age 17 as a DJ where he began to develop an ear for live mixing, song structure and vocal arrangements. Over the years he's masterfully fine tuned his skills to become one of the most sought after producers for television and advertising. In addition to being part of various productions like X Factor and The Next Star, in 2018-2019 Tyson worked as an engineer and consultant on CTV's nationally televised show, "The Launch."
Working with writers and producers like Scott Borchetta (discovered Taylor Swift) and Jon
Levine (Dua Lipa, Alessia Cara, Andy Grammar, Avril Lavigne), the show became the launching pad for many of Canada's top artists.
In the booth, Tyson has directed various big name voices such as Bryan Cranston, Tina Fey,
Josh Lucas, K-os, T-Pain, Kardinal Offishall, Nelly Furtado and Leonard Cohen to name a few.
