Daniel Rowland

Head of Strategy and Partnerships, LANDR Audio

Daniel Rowland is an eclectic LA-based music producer, tech executive, and educator. He holds both a B.S and M.F.A. in Music Technology, and is currently Head of Strategy and Partnerships at LANDR, co-founder of Audiotool, and longtime instructor at MTSU.

Daniel has helped grow LANDR to 5 million users, refining their industry-leading creator tools platform, AI mastering engine, plugins and services, while crafting acquisition and partnerships deals with a wide range of startups and iconic brands/artists. And with Audiotool, to bring an inclusive, browser-based music production environment to millions of users, while uniting the worlds of Esports and music.

As a creative, Daniel has produced the music for an Oscar-winning Pixar film (“Piper”); and mixed and mastered multiplatinum/Grammy-nominated projects for artists as varied as Nine Inch Nails, Seal, Jhene Aiko, Phillip Glass, Gwen Stefani, Gayle, Gucci Mane, David Foster, Burna Boy, Nina Simone, YG, and Flo Rida along with dozens of soundtracks for Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, John Wick, and others.

He was ranked as one of the top mastering engineers in the world by Jaxsta for 2022, based upon streaming numbers, credits, and Grammy nominations.

Most recently, Daniel co-founded Immersive Mixers, focusing on mixing for Dolby Atmos.

Daniel has spoken on the present and future of music technology at conferences such as SXSW, NAMM, A3C, and the ASCAP Expo, and is a voting member of the Recording Academy.
