Philipp Grefer founded The Future Festival & Think Tank in 2018 in Beijing and he has since taken to five cities in China and Germany. He has more than 20 years experience in the music and events business in various roles, ten of which he lived in China where he co-founded 360-degree music agency FakeMusicMedia in 2009. He is also the representative for the lobbying organization of international music managers (IMMF) and worked at the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai. Philipp consults companies and government organizations on the Chinese/Asian markets and how to embrace creativity and new technologies into business.

Before focusing on the Asian music business, he has worked as a journalist for Germany´s biggest broadcaster, the German Government Organization GIZ; as an international advisor for Chinese gaming giant Kunlun; and with US Ambassador Jeffrey Davidow for the Institute of the Americas in San Diego.

He holds a master's degree in Political Science and Economics with a focus on Latin America.
