Jessica Richard, Senior Vice President, Federal Public Policy, RIAA

We’ve come a long way since Fake Drake. Deep fake technologies have improved and proliferated, flooding our feeds with unauthorized digital replicas in the form of unsanctioned cover songs, sales scams, memes, and beyond – and we still don’t have in place a federal legal framework to establish rules of the road. This panel features experts on AI policy from across the spectrum who will address the current state of play, including the inner workings and status of the bicameral, bipartisan NO FAKES Act, and what it takes these days to build consensus across industries and the political aisle.
