Chief Programming Officer, KEXP
Chris Kellogg is KEXP’s Chief Programming Officer, responsible for leading the organization’s programmatic vision and audience development, overseeing the evolution of KEXP’s content and distribution strategies, and the creation of the KEXP listener-user experience. Chris has been with KEXP since 2008, serving in a variety of roles across programming and production. Prior to his work at KEXP, Chris served as evening host at KMTT in Seattle. Chris received a Bachelor in Political Science from Western Washington University in Bellingham WA where he found his real home on campus at the mighty KUGS-FM.

Radio is still the number one source for new music discovery. With the emergence of new technologies and devices there are more ways than ever for audiences to discover new music and these new technologies are also providing new ways for radio stations to deliver their content to listeners. A Nielsen survey found that 83% of consumers say they’re listening to as much or more radio as they were before the pandemic. Radio has been around for over 100 years and is ever changing and dependable -- on our panel radio leaders discuss how they see the future of this vital format.
