Dr. SK Sharma is the Chief Analytics & AI Officer at Ingrooves Music Group (a UMG company), where he leads a diverse global team of AI researchers, Ph.D. data scientists, and content/corporate strategists to develop innovative products and services around listener engagement, audience growth, and marketing analytics/technology. As a senior AI and digital strategy executive with over 15 years of CXO leadership and investment management experience at various VC, strategy consulting, and intellectual property firms, SK has a track record of conceptualizing and implementing major audience, consumer, and prescriptive analytics initiatives at Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and PE portfolio companies. SK is also a serial entrepreneur with four $100M+ exits for companies he either co-founded or where he served as an operational partner. Previous professional experience includes Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, OC&C Strategy, PLI, and Mitchell Madison Group.
SK holds a Ph.D. from Caltech (earned at the age of 23), is the lead inventor on multiple AI patents, a co-author on 17+ scientific research publications, and was recently recognized by Billboard in their annual 40 under 40 issue as a trailblazing young music executive. He is an Entrepreneur in Residence at UCSD and is based in coastal San Diego, CA.
