Where Law and Music Meet: A Practical Introduction to Music Law for Emerging Artists and their Representatives

An introduction to the legal Issues at the heart of how musicians interact, make music, and earn a living. With students from Harvard Law School leading the workshop, we will discuss topics including split sheets, copyrights, sampling, and performance rights. Additionally, we will discuss the availability of employment benefits for freelance musicians in light of COVID-19.
